Alppikerho Adventure Race 2023 -seikkailukisan tulokset
Ensimmäinen perinteinen Alppikerho Adventure Race-seikkailukisa käytiin sunnuntaina 17.9.2023. Kisa alkoi Paloheinän draikkatornilla klo 9.00 materiaalien jaolla ja klo 10.00 kisa kajahti yhteislähdöllä toden teolla käyntiin!
Alppikerho Adventure Race-kisassa seikkailtiin kahden hengen joukkueissa ympäri pääkaupunkiseutua. Liikkuminen tapahtui juosten ja maastopyöräillen ja kisaan kuului myös suunnistusta ja kiipeilyä. Kiipeilytaitoja ei edellytetty vaan ammattitaitoiset toimitsijat olivat köysitehtävissä ohjeistamassa ja valvomassa turvallisuutta.
Aamupäivällä satoi ennusteen mukaisesti vettä - välillä reilustikin - ja poluilla kura lensi! Iltapäivällä aurinko tuli esiin ja loppupäivän olikin hyvää säätä.
Kisan aikana joukkueet tekivät rastileimauksia Instagramin tarinoiden kautta ja niitä jaettiin Alppikerhon tarinoissa, joka teki mahdolliseksi seurata kilpailijoiden etenemistä.
Toimitsijoille ja kisaajille oli kisan lähtö-ja maalialueella tarjolla eväitä ja juotavaa energian tankkausta varten.
Kaikki kymmenen joukkuetta saapuivat perille maaliin Paloheinän draikkatornille, jonne kisa päättyi klo 18.00.

Mainittakoon vielä, että voittajajoukkue kiersi ainoana koko radan läpi hyväksytysti.

The first traditional Alppikerho Adventure Race took place on Sunday 17 September 2023. The race started at Paloheinä's drytooling tower aka. "Draikkatorni" at 9:00 a.m. with the distribution of materials, and at 10:00 a.m. the race really started with a joint start!
In the Alppikerho Adventure Race, teams of two adventured around the capital region. Movement was done by running and mountain biking, and the race also included orienteering and climbing. Climbing skills were not required, but professional operators were on the spot to instruct and monitor safety.
In the morning, following to the forecast, it rained - sometimes quite a lot - and on the paths the mud flew! The sun came out in the afternoon and the weather was good for the rest of the day.
During the competition, the teams made tick marks through Instagram stories and they were shared in Alppikerho's stories, which made it possible to follow the competitors' progress.
Snacks and drinks were available for refueling energy at the start and finish area of the race for officials and competitors.
All ten teams arrived at the finish line at Paloheinä's drytooling tower, where the race ended at 6:00 p.m.
The top positions in the AAR race were as follows:

2. Kurapyöräilijät
3. Janson
It should also be mentioned that the winning team was the only one to pass the entire course.
