Ensimmäinen Alppikerho Adventure Race 17.9.2023

Ensimmäinen Alppikerho Adventure Race järjestetään pääkaupunkiseudulla sunnuntaina 17.9.2023 klo 9.00.

Tapahtumassa seikkaillaan kahden hengen joukkueissa ympäri pääkaupunkiseutua. Henkisesti kannattaa varautua liikkumaan ainakin juosten ja maastopyöräillen eikä kiipeily tai suunnistustaidostakaan ole varmasti haittaa päivän aikana. Kiipeilyllisiä erityistaitoja ei kuitenkaan vaadita ja mahdollisissa köysitehtävissä paikalla on ammattitaitoinen henkilöstö ohjeistamassa ja valvomassa turvallisuutta. Seikkailun tavoiteaika on 6 tuntia, mutta kärki on varmaankin maalissa jo aikaisemmin. Reitillä on cut-off pisteitä, joilta ohjataan mahdollisia hitaampia kilpailijoita oikopoluille, että kaikki ehtisivät ajoissa maaliin. Maali sulkeutuu klo 18.00.

Mukaan mahtuu ensimmäisenä vuonna vain 20 ensin ilmoittautunutta joukkuetta, joten kannattaa pitää kiirettä. Ilmoittautuminen tapahtuu kerhon Holvissa osoitteessa: https://holvi.com/shop/alppikerho/section/alppikerho-adventure-race/.

Osallistumismaksu on 60 € Alppikerhon jäsenille ja 80 € ei-jäsenille per joukkue. Jäsenalennukseen riittää, että toinen joukkueen jäsenistä on jäsen. Maksu suoritetaan ilmoittautumisen yhteydessä Holvissa.

The first Alppikerho Adventure Race will take place in the capital region on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.

In the event, teams of two people adventure around the capital region. Mentally, you should be prepared to move at least by running and mountain biking, and climbing or orienteering skills certainly won't hurt during the day either. However, special climbing skills are not required, and in the case of possible rope tasks, professional personnel will be on hand to provide instructions and monitor safety. The target time of the adventure is 6 hours, but the top will probably be at the finish line earlier. There are cut-off points on the route, from which potential slower competitors are directed to shortcuts, so that everyone reaches the finish line on time. The finish closes at 18:00.

In the first year, only the first 20 registered teams can take part, so you should hurry. Registration takes place in the club's Holvi webshop at: https://holvi.com/shop/alppikerho/section/alppikerho-adventure-race/.

The participation fee is €60 for Alppikerho members and €80 for non-members per team. For the membership discount, it is enough that one of the team members is a member. The payment is made at the time of registration in Holvi-webshop.
